Job Description

Powell Watson Motors GMC Buick Cadillac has been a trusted name in the automotive industry, providing exceptional service and top-quality vehicles to our valued customers. Our team is dedicated to delivering an outstanding customer experience, and we are looking for a Service Advisor to join our growing service department. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers requiring vehicle maintenance and repairs. Your role is to provide excellent customer service, explain service recommendations, and ensure a smooth, efficient service process.

Job Responsibilitity 

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:

• Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate vehicle repairs.
• Clearly explain recommended services and costs to customers.
• Work closely with technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and efficient service.
• Provide updates to customers on service progress and completion times.
• Process repair orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Stay up to date with dealership service offerings and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role (automotive industry preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with computer systems and dealership management software.
• Valid driver’s license.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience and commensurate with Fortune 500 companies.
