Toyota of Laredo is expanding our services we offer to our cutomers. We are looking for an experienced Loaner Vehicle Administrator/ Fleet Manager to fill this need.

As a Loaner Vehicle Administrator/ Fleet Manager with Toyota of Laredo, you are responsible for managing our Loaner Vehicle Program effectively and efficiently to help maintain our high level of service. As the Loaner Admin. You will provide excellent service and will ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client relationships and contributing to the dealership’s goals.

  • Punctual and regular attendance.
  • Customer relations and supervising employees
  • Coordinating loaner/rental cars to clients in a courteous and prompt manner
  • Complete loaner/rental contracts thoroughly and accurately
  • Provide a great delivery of the vehicle, to include inspection and explanation of operation and accessories.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of loaner/rental vehicles.
  • Coordinating with Valets gas in vehicles and car washes
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and make sure all vehicles have current registration.
  • Predict the number of vehicles that will be needed daily.
  • Plan as needed with outside vendors.
  • Follow direction from Service Management and assist when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies and clients when loaner vehicles are damaged.
  • Maintains all management reports.
  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all department employees.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.

Education, Experience, and Certification:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ Loaner experience preferred, but not required.
  • The ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to continually increase product knowledge should be evident.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

  • Adequate physical ability including sufficient manual dexterity, including the ability to operate computers, tablets, phones, key boxes, and other office machines to perform the required job functions.
  • Visual acuity to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away. Requires extended screen time, including reading and entering information on multiple computer screens.
  • Must be able to sit or stand in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to climb into and out of cars numerous times each day.
  • Requires frequent reaching, bending, repetitive hand movements, twisting, standing, walking, sitting, squatting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
  • Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions in both summer and winter.
  • Regular, punctual attendance is required.

Work Environment:

  • This position operates in a professional dealership environment.
  • Evening and Saturday work will be required as job duties demand. Scheduled shifts will be determined by the manager, with rotating shifts throughout the workweek.
  • Must maintain a clean, safe working environment always.
  • Must perform duties in all weather conditions.
